Hi, I’m Shawn, a Brooklyn based photographer with a background in visual journalism from Penn State. For over a decade, I’ve worked as both a photojournalist and event photographer, and that experience shapes the way I approach every wedding. I see each day as a story unfolding in real time, and my goal is to document it in a way that feels complete, honest, and true to you.

My style leans heavily into candid, documentary imagery. I might offer a few prompts or scenarios to get things started, but I mostly step back and let your personalities shine. I see my work with couples as a collaboration, built on trust and openness, so the photos feel natural and genuinely reflective of who you are together.
