Hey y’all! I’m Shain, a true Southerner with the charming drawl to prove it. I’ve been photographing weddings for many years and have captured hundreds of celebrations, and I still get excited for every single one. Being part of the Once Like A Spark team has been such an incredible journey, and I truly love what I get to do.

My style is candid, fun, and real. I bring a calm, laid back presence to your day, while also stepping in with guidance when needed so everything feels easy and natural. I want you to enjoy yourselves, laugh a lot, and feel completely at ease, because that’s when the most meaningful photos happen. I’m always chasing that golden glow, but what really makes an image special is authentic joy, and I’ll do just about anything to bring that out.

True to my Southern roots, I pride myself on making people feel comfortable and at home. The best compliment I receive is when couples say they barely noticed they were being photographed. If your photos can make you laugh, cry, and relive it all over again, then I’ve done my job right.
