Hi, I’m Kai! I’m a Michigan based wedding and elopement photographer with a background in the music industry and a love for capturing the weird, wonderful, and beautifully human moments in life. Funny enough, my dad photographed weddings for over 20 years, which naturally convinced younger me that I wanted absolutely nothing to do with cameras! Instead, I spent years playing in metal bands and working as an audio engineer before falling in love with photography while traveling with my wife in 2018. Turns out, Dad might have been onto something!

My style is rooted in authentic storytelling. I love capturing the real, unscripted moments that make your wedding uniquely yours, from the big emotions to the hilarious little things you might not even realize are happening. To me, weddings are all about people, connection, and community, and I want your photos to bring those feelings rushing back every time you look at them.
