Our connection & teamwork will always be one of the biggest differences between us and other collaboratives. We foster a true connection with our artists and our clients, creating a seamless & enjoyable experience for all. Unlike other companies, we empower our couples by allowing them to choose their photographer based on their work and personality, rather than simply assigning a photographer. We have seen time and again how much this allows our couples feel excited about and connected to a photographer that is the right fit for their big day!
We always fully vet our artists. In the application process we require links to full wedding galleries, examples of your work in multiple different venues and lighting situations, and a full equipment list. We'll also want to know how long you have been shooting weddings and what you LOVE about it! After a multi-step approval by our talent team and Creative Director, we'll schedule you for an interview. We'll meet together over video and chat about your experience, ask questions, answer yours, and go from there! If you are selected to be a part of our team, we will send you our contract, policies, and onboarding information.
We are affirming of all couples and work with many couples and artists in the LGBTQIA+ community. IT is a requirement to be open to working with everyone and be inclusive of all cultures, customs, sexual orientations, gender identities, and religions.
We are fully transparent and happy to answer any questions. Working together seamlessly as a team is our #1 goal.
The number of weddings you shoot will vary on a few different factors. We work with our lead photographers based off of a calendar of their availability. This means the more availability you have, the more likely you are to be booked. If you are open often, keep in mind that our couples choose their photographer. Our videographers and second shooters are able to book with us on a cadenced booking system that matches your availability with the jobs/couples we know will suit you well. Keep in mind, our markets are all different and can have more bookings in certain seasons than others. Most lead jobs are booked between 6-12 months out & second shooter + videographer are booked 3+ months in advance.
We do allow our artists to use the photos/videos they create on jobs with us! There are a few policies surrounding this and we are happy to go into it further into our interview process. We do ask that all of our artists wait until the full gallery has been delivered to the clients & refrain from tagging clients/vendors/venues/etc in social media posts. Our clients confidentiality and privacy is incredibly important to us.
We do have many couples who request a quick phone call before bookings/before the wedding day to connect with the photographer. If the couple would like to talk before they've officially booked this is usually just a *vibe check* from our couples, they want to make sure that we are ALL just as excited to be a part of their day as they deserve! If they've already booked and are looking to connect before the wedding day we'll set up a call. Again, we work together as a team and try to take care of most of the "nitty-gritty" however, that personal connection is so important!
Absolutely! Many of our wedding package included engagement sessions & you will have the opportunity to shoot one-off engagement sessions as well as newborn, family, other types of events, and more! If you're only interested in shooting weddings & their included engagements, that's okay too.
Absolutely. We do try to keep your weddings under 1.5 hours from your home address, however you can be booked up to 3 hours away. If you're interested in weddings further away, you can let us know! For weddings 1:45 hours or more from your home, we cover travel & expenses as necessary.
