How did you get into wedding photography? Ever since I was young, I have been fascinated with recording life through the lens of a camera. I have always loved how digital media allows us to preserve precious moments for the future. My humble photography beginnings can be traced back to my cross country years in high school. I was a passionate runner and delighted in the camaraderie I found in my tightly-knit team. I began bringing our family digital camera (an old Nikon DSLR) to my races and started snapping photos of my teammates at the meets, documenting each triumphant victory and heartbreaking loss. I became known as the unofficial team photographer, and took my job of capturing each runner in action very seriously. My passion for digital media grew in college where I continued to photograph and film my running team. Then by a happy chance, one of my runner friends was getting married and asked me to shoot her wedding, and from then on I was hooked. I am now channeling my passion into capturing the details and spirit of one of the most important days of your life.

What are some favorite places near you to shoot engagement sessions?

I love natural locations for engagements! Some of my favorite places to shoot are Arlington’s Great Meadows in Arlington, MA, Chiesa Farm in Lexington, MA, Wildcat Falls in Manchester, NH, Battle Road in Concord, MA and Great Meadows Wildlife Reserve in Concord, MA.

What is your favorite way to spend a day off in your town?
When I’m not shooting or editing, I enjoy being active outdoors rock climbing, hiking, and cycling in and around my town. I also love spending time with my adventure cat Secret and taking her for walks and canoe rides!
