How did you feel right before you walked down the aisle :: Before walking down the aisle, I felt really calm and at peace. That’s really how I felt the entire day. I was confident in my decision to marry Kentrell and I didn’t let myself get overwhelmed or caught up in the drama of the day with all the chaos it takes to pull a wedding off. I knew the day wasn’t about the decor and superficial things, but about us entering into a union with God at the center so that’s all I cared about and focused on.
Favorite detail from your wedding :: My favorite detail from the wedding were the vows! We chose to write our own vows and Kentrell really blew me away with how beautiful his vows were. Wow. The words he spoke to me reassured me that he was the only one for me and that we’d be ok forever.
How’s married life so far :: Married life is amazing! My favorite part is seeing the ways we can use our union to glorify God now that we’re finally married. We had an idea of what things would be like after we got married and some of those ideas are correct, but not all of them. It’s nice to already see the ways we’re adjusting to the different curveballs and growing into our roles as husband and wife.
Ivory + Kentrell, we are so in love with your amazing wedding photos!! All our Love. xoxo
