At what point did you feel most the joyful on your wedding day :: Best part of the day was the few minutes in the front of the reception hall, right before we walked into our first dance. We had planned our dance a few months in advance, and were really excited about sharing that moment together. Chris and I took a few dance lessons, and thoroughly enjoyed that time spent together. I love to dance, and he loves a challenge, so it was a great date night every week to go dance and learn for a few hours. Finally getting to show off for our friends and family was exciting (a little bit nerve-wracking) and one of the things we had looked forward to in all of the wedding planning. It was also great to spend those few minutes of prep with our bridal party, laughing and teasing, before we all made out entrance. The guys brought Chris a beer and my ladies spent forever trying to figure out how to bustle up my dress, while we all laughed and talked about the day, and the fun we were about to have.
Describe how you felt right before you walked down the aisle :: Thrilled that the moment was finally here, and then surprised because I had forgotten I picked a song from Lord of the Rings for the string quartet to play, and it sounded so lovely when they began to play. It took my breath away to be there in that moment, in beautiful surroundings, with fun music and a room full of people that we loved and loved us back.
Was there anything in particular your guests thought was really cool or really enjoyed :: Everyone loved how much our boys (Carter and Garrett, 6 year old twins) danced the night away. They were very proud of their breakdancing skills and wouldn’t stop for anything.
Jillian + Chris, we adore you guys and are honored to have been given the chance to be a part of your amazing love story!! All our Love. xoxo
