Boston is one of out favorite spots, so when we were invited to shoot Steph + Mike’s FABULOUS wedding at the Millennium Bostonian Hotel, we were nothing short of thrilled!!! But first, here is a bit about how Steph and Mike met:
“Mike and I met through work sometime in the neighborhood of 7 or 8 years ago. We were part of the same social circle, frequently meeting up for happy hour and other social events. One day, he invited me to fly out to Nantucket with him, to get breakfast for one our friend’s birthday’s. I felt like such a big shot, flying to Nantucket just to get breakfast; I loved every minute.
Fast forward about a year or 2, and we decided to start dating. Although we had been out together numerous times before, our first official date was at Carmen’s, a tiny italian place in the North End (seriously, they have like 10 tables). Everything was delicious. Without even thinking about it, or even asking, I reached over and took a bite of food off his plate. He looked at me with equal parts shock and amusement. We still laugh about that today.
For our second date, we flew out to Nantucket and spent the day together. While we had been there before, we had never left the airport (the breakfast at the airport is quite good. :)). It was both of our first time on the island, and we enjoyed a beautiful autumn day exploring all that the area had to offer. We bought some great local wine and beer and took it back to Boston with us. We landed just as the sun was setting. It was a truly memorable day.
The rest, as they say, is history. :)”
Aren’t they SO cute!! Their wedding theme was “CITY CHIC” and they definitely pulled it off. You can tell that both Steph, Matt and their guest had such a wonderful time!! Congrats!!!
