We are over the moon because we get to share Midhun + Sheena’s wedding today! If you don’t remember their engagement shoot, here is a link to refresh your memory: Midhun + Sheena’s Engagement.
M + S had an Indian Orthodox inspired ceremony at the Church of Incarnation. There were so many amazing traditions included in this ceremony; there is a part called the blessing of the crowns (I know, so cool!) where the officiant prays over the groom’s head with the cross in his hand, making the sign of the cross. He then places the cross necklace around the groom’s neck, and does this again with a second necklace over the bride’s head. Love that! After the ceremony, Midhun and Sheena head over the Trentadue Winery where they take their couples photos with our outstanding photographer, Marissa. It was so incredibly romantic when M + S were standing under the grape trellises, enjoying the sweet moments while no one else was around.
Midhun + Sheena wanted to encompass both Eastern and Western traditions into their wedding day and we think they did a superb job! Congrats!
