At what point did you feel the most joyful on your wedding day :: When I saw Erica turn the corner at the chapel and start walking down the aisle. I knew that was it, that we were about to do it. In just a few minutes we would be married, and I was so excited to finally start that chapter of our lives. I couldn’t stop smiling. – Tuan
What is the one moment, from your wedding day, you want to remember 10 years from now :: We didn’t really have much of a “getaway” plan for the end of the night. No fancy car or carriage to pick us up. So our guests lined the sidewalk outside the Theatre and threw rose petals and cheered, but when we got to the end of the line, we just sort of kept walking. And we kept walking all the way around the block, hand in hand, all dressed up, married. The air was warm, the trees were lined with twinkle lights and it felt quiet as we walked away from the venue. (So unexpectedly romantic!) Everyone we passed on our stroll was sharing their congrats and well wishes, and we were both so happy as we reflected on the night together. It was truly the perfect way to end to our day. We’ll never forget it.
What was your favorite detail :: The Georgia Theatre marquee! We were thrilled to see our names in the same spot as so many other musical legends, and it was equally as exciting for our guests too. Throughout the day, we each got so many texts and pictures from friends and family who spotted the marquee – they thought it was the coolest thing and it created so much buzz and anticipation for our festivities that night. It made us feel like fancy celebrities on our wedding day. It was really special.
Erica + Tuan, we love you guys so much!! xoxo
