At what point did you feel most the joyful on your wedding day :: Two moments are tied for me! The first was saying my vows. I thought I would cry through them—I had started to tear up just at the rehearsal the day before—but when the time came, I was simply excited and happy. The second moment was an unplanned one. Near the end of the night, the band had all of our guests circle around us, but instead of a slow song, which is the norm for this type of thing, they played an awesome rendition of Don’t Stop Believin’. In the slower part of the song in the beginning, Tommy held me close as we slow-danced and whispered in my ear to “Look around and take in all the faces. It’s pretty cool.” And it really was. Then that signature guitar riff came and Tommy and I air-guitared, fist-pumped, and spun each other around like goofs as everyone cheered us on. It was a spontaneous moment of pure fun and joy, surrounded by people we love and treasure.- Casidhe
Tell us about a cool detail from your wedding :: For our “guest book,” we had a mailbox and custom “Virginia is for Lovers” postcards. I always hate throwing away cards, so in addition to the postcards from the wedding, I’ve put all the cards we’ve received for our engagement, bridal showers, and the wedding in the mailbox. We keep it in our living room, full of notes and well-wishes from our loved ones.
Casidhe + Tommy, thank you so much for allowing us to be part of your special day!! We loved every second! All our Love. xoxo
