At what point did you feel the most joyful on your wedding day :: The first time my husband and I saw one another was as I was walking down the aisle. After the ceremony and picture-taking, our venue set up a private room for us to be alone and enjoy the last half of cocktail hour. We got to talk, sip on cocktails, and munch on hors d’oeuvres without any interruptions. I was so happy to have that alone-time with him (and I got to take off my shoes for a few minutes!).
What was the most surprising thing about your wedding :: I was most surprised that everything went off exactly on time! I expected that we’d have some delays or a few hiccups along the way, so I mentally prepared myself just to go with the flow, no matter what. My sister had a wardrobe malfunction right before all the bridesmaids and I were supposed to take pictures. Out of nowhere my aunt showed up and sewed her into her dress, no problem. My DJ later told me he’d never had a wedding go exactly as scheduled, it gave us so much breathing room to have fun at the reception.
Carla + Scott, we love you both so much!! Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your sweet love story. xoxo
