How much will it cost?
Our packages generally start at $2,450, with tons of options and room for customization. All of our packages (every single one!) include 8 hours of coverage on your wedding day, an online ordering system, a DVD of your edited images, and the personal rights to those images so you can do pretty much anything you want with them.
Can I make prints from the images I am getting in my package?
Absolutely! In fact, you can print them on your own or order prints through us, copy them, share them online, blow them up to poster size for your living room…all to your heart’s delight.
Will I get to know and connect with my photographer?
Um, DEFINITELY! In fact, because you have a team of people to focus on the details, your photographer can focus on getting to know you and your fiance.. If you’re interested in scheduling coffee (or a cocktail!), a phone date, or a Skype date, let us know, and let’s make this happen!
How do you choose the weddings and sessions that you feature on your blog and Facebook page?
We post each and every wedding and engagement session on our blog and Facebook page. This means the GORGEOUS photos you see here aren’t just the best of the best – they are exactly what you can expect when you become a part of the (once like a spark) family!!!
What if our reception lasts longer than the amount of time we paid for?
We get this question a lot, and to be honest, it’s only happened a very small handful of times. That being said, we’re not going to leave you high and dry! If things are still hoppin’, and you want your photographer to stay, extra time can be added on for $200 an hour. Most of our clients choose not to have their photographer stay throughout the whole reception (how many photos of dancing people do you really need?) and instead use those hours earlier in the day for more meaningful photos.
I got quoted a package from another photographer with 17 albums, a makeup artist, a personal maid, prints, an engagement session and 59 hours of coverage for $1000. Why are you more expensive?
The difference is in the photos. Every. Single. Time.

Oh, good! We thought you’d never ask! If you haven’t already, send in an inquiry through our contact form. To secure the date, you’ll need to sign an agreement (online) and pay for your deposit – 1/3 of the total package price. We’re so excited!!
I don’t know how much time I need for pictures, can you help me with that?
Absolutely!! Alicia, our amazing in-house Wedding Coordinator, is an EXPERT at this. She’ll guide you through creating your wedding day photography schedule ensuring that nothing feels stressful, that everything is planned for, and that you’re getting the photos that are important to you.
How long does it take to get my photos?
We make sure that we’re spending time editing your images to make them look spectacular, but we also know you want your photos back asap! That being said, you’ll receive engagement photos back three weeks after your session date. Wedding pictures are back six weeks after your wedding date – all normal wedding industry standards.
What’s your primary style? Posed and formal, relaxed, photojournalistic, creative, artistic, candid, traditional?
To be honest, we think it’s really important to have a good mix of all of them. We understand the importance of classically beautiful photos that you’ll still love 50 years down the road, but we also totally understand the importance of fun, different photos that are representative of you in your life right now. Most of the time people describe our photography as classically elegant, with just the right mix of whimsy built in, plus a little charm on the top.
Do you shoot in color or black and white? Or both? Do you shoot in a digital format that can create both color and b/w versions of the same picture?
So, photography in 2014 is almost all in a digital format, which means we can always take any image and create it in color or in B&W. Generally, we edit about 15-20% of the photos in black and white, and the rest in color. If you have a different preference, just let us know!
Can we give you a shot list? How will you know what we want?
You can absolutely give us a shot list if you have one, and if you don’t, we’ll spend a lot of time working with you making sure we’ve gone over all of the shots that are important to you, and guiding you through this process. Most of the time brides just want to secure a specific shot list for family photos, and then they let their photographer do their thing for all of the creative shots. However, if you have ideas for the creative stuff, we absolutely want to hear it!
I want traditional family photos but I don’t want them to be boring or take up the whole day – do you have ideas?
YES! Again, we’re the experts. We do know these photos are important, but we also know that this can be everyone’s least favorite, most-stressful part of the day, when it doesn’t need to be! We know ALL of the tips and tricks to make sure you get family photos done quickly, efficiently, and peacefully.
What happens if my photographer gets sick on my wedding day?
This is another benefit of (once like a spark). First off, let us say that this has never, ever happened in the history of our company. However, if it ever did, our company is a small network of photographers, all with very similar styles. If your photographer was sick or had an emergency, we’d be able to immediately send another one of our photographers from our network.
What’s the difference in prints I would buy from you vs. prints I would do myself?
Great question! Prints that you order from us are professional grade – they are printed on the highest quality paper using archival inks, which basically means they are printed to last a long, long time. Photos that you get printed on your own will still be beautiful, they’ll just look different than our professional prints 50 years down the line.
I know I want to hire you but I don’t know what package I want – can I add things on later?
Sure thing! If you know that you want to book us, we would recommend going ahead and booking a base package to make sure you secure your date. You can absolutely spend some additional time learning about our products and add those on later.
What kind of equipment do you use?
All of our photographers use top-of-the-line, professional grade equipment.
How much is required to secure my date?
One-third of your package price and an online signed agreement is required to secure your wedding date.
What happens after I book with you guys? Will I hear from you before my wedding day?
Ohmygoodness, absolutely! Booking us is just the beginning of a beautiful, beautiful thing. We’ll be right next to you the whole way, making sure you feel amazingly confident about your wedding photography, giving you tons of helpful information, and answering any questions you may have.
